Scan-Link's Armour system Scan-Link's Armour system, the back-up device that detects people rather than objects.

Introduction
Scan Link's Amour system utilizes RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to warn the driver of a reversing vehicle that he or she must be extra careful because a worker is nearby.
Who is the Armour system for?
Whether you're a business owner, a construction worker or an equipment operator, this solution is designed for you.Why choose Armour system?
- The antenna is housed in a sturdy and waterproof case, and the antenna beam sweeps the rear area of the vehicle.
- Designed to detect SCAN-LINK safety clothing and uses a reliable wireless link to transmit the information to the display unit located near the equipment operator.
- The rugged and compact display unit uses both a light display (LED) and an audible alarm (adjustable volume) to alert the equipment operator.
- The visual display is permanently activated while the audible alarm will only operate if the equipment is in reverse.
- The display unit is wirelessly connected to the antenna, and self-diagnostic checks ensure that the link is maintained and the system is working properly.
- Each Armour safety vest is detachable by Velcro at five different points and includes 14 strategically placed RFID chips.
- The vests are highly visible and accented with 3M Scotchlight reflective tape ?
- The vests are durable, lightweight, comfortable and meet CSA Z96-02 Class 2 Level 2 and ANSI/ISEA 107-2004a standards.
- Combine the vest with the Armour safety helmet, equipped with an RFID chip, to maximize user protection.
Operation
Workers wearing an Armour safety vest and helmet will be quickly detected thanks to the RIFD chips discreetly housed in their work clothes. The unique feature of the Scan-Link's Armour System is that drivers of vehicles equipped with an Armour antenna can detect workers wearing Armour safety vests and helmets, regardless of the job site they are on.

characteristics
Each worker:
Wearing the Armour System vest and helmet allows the Armour antenna to sense your presence and notify the operator that you are behind their vehicle - even if you are in the dead space.
Each equipment operator:
Armour eliminates false positives. The system will only alert you if a safety jacket and helmet equipped with the Scan-Links's Armour System are detected behind your vehicle, preventing false alarms. If the Armour display unit alerts you of the presence of a worker behind your vehicle, then that person is there.
